Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings

Church offering used to be a visible part of a worship service. (ie. Offertory Prayer, Passing the Plate, Special Music) So much has changed because of COVID, apps on our phones, and our expectation of convenience. A generation ago, many churches talked about "gifts, tithes, and offerings” as a part of their regular rhythm and practice. We need to revisit the reasons why they did. Beginning this Sunday, we will look at three foundational parts of Scripture to understand how Christians follow Jesus with our money and resources.
