The Book of Joel

The God revealed in Holy Scripture doesn’t always respect our personal preferences. In particular, Yahweh doesn’t mind inconveniencing us with sweeping actions (called “the day of the LORD”) that demand a corporate response. The booklet of Joel gives us some detail about how to approach God together. God’s ancient words disrupt our plans with the divine presence.
